What We Offer

Our Services

Offering a unique, collaborative effort that pulls together the different disciplines to ensure that a patient's goal is met.

Inpatient Rehab

This type of stay requires a patient to stay at our facility overnight for a pre-determined length of time as dictated by Medicare/Medicaid or other private insurance.  Patient progress and adherence to treatment may also impact a patient’s length of stay at our facility.

Outpatient Rehab

We offer outpatient services for patients requiring Physical, Occupational or Speech therapy services.  If you have any questions regarding our outpatient services, please contact Bonnie Bush at 870-265-9940.

Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT)

Lymphadema is a chronic condition that must be managed for life.  Our therapists are trained and certified in Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), which is considered the best practice for the management of Lymphedema.

It is an intensive program that combines many different treatment approaches, including bandaging, compression garments, manual lymphatic drainage, exercise, and self care.

Studies have shown that CDT can effectively reduce the volume of lymphedema, improve patients’ mobility, and increase quality of life.

Low/Patient Nurse Ratio

Having a low patient to nurse ratio allows more one-on-one interaction with our patients.  This oftentimes leads to better outcomes as well as adherence to treatment.

FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation Of Swallowing) (coming soon)

A fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES) test is a procedure used to assess how well you swallow. During the procedure, a speech-language pathologist (SLP) passes a thin, flexible instrument through your nose allowing the SLP to views parts of your throat as you swallow. FEES allows the clinician to identify the physiology of swallowing, to determine the safest and least restrictive level of oral intake, to include appropriate compensatory techniques, and to establish a dysphagia rehabilitation program.

Small, Home-like Atmosphere with Private Rooms

Our team works hard to provide patients with a great rehab experience.  A great experience doesn’t exist without having a great staff to carryout day to day operations.  We have very little turnover at our facility, and it is common for a patient to be cared for by the same team of employees throughout the duration of their stay.

All services performed under supervision of rehab MD

Our physicians provide rounding services while patients are in our inpatient program.  This allows us to make necessary accommodations, medication changes/adjustments, order needed adaptive equipment, and to provide discharge planning to help enhance results obtained while at our facility.

Speech Therapy

Speech Therapy (ST) provides services to individuals with speech, language, cognition, and communication deficits, in addition to, eating and swallowing disorders.  This discipline strives to improve the patient’s overall quality of life through muscular strengthening for swallowing and vocalization skills, cognitive retraining, and modified technique training. Our speech therapists are certified in multiple specialized treatment programs such as:

-LSVT Loud®

-Vital Stim
-Ampcare

Respiratory Therapy

Respiratory Therapy (RT) works under the direction of a physician to treat problems associated with the cardiopulmonary system.  Our therapist works to ensure our patients are educated on the proper use of any BiPAP, CPAP, nebulizer, spirometers, and any other respiratory equipment during their stay at our facility.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy (PT) provides services to individuals that have sustained disabilities, impairments or limitations in their overall physical function and mobility.  Their primary focus is to return patients to their prior level of functional independence by increasing muscle strength/endurance, balance, and overall safety awareness. Our PT department at Southeast Rehab has over 50 years of combined experience. Our therapists are also certified to provide LSVT: Big® to Parkinson’s patients and other individuals with neurological disorders.
